Manila, Philippines - The Appointed Son of God, Pastor Apollo Quiboloy of the Davao-based Kingdom of Jesus Christ religious group prompted rival Pastor Joel Apolinario of Kabus Padatoon (KAPA) Ministry International Inc. to stop his extortion from millions of people off their hard-earned money through his pyramid scam or else, he said he would drag Apolinario to hell.

“Dahil nanloloko ka at ginamit ang salita ng Diyos, humanda ka sa akin kung hindi kaligtasan ang inyong dala! Kakaladkarin talaga kita patungo sa impiyerno. Huwag kang gumamit sa mga salita ng Diyos upang pagtakpan ang mga ginawa ninyo na mga kalokohan,” Quiboloy said in a report by Bombo Radyo.

Quiboloy said Apolinario should not blame President Duterte for ordering the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) to shut down his Mindanao offices and cease his pyramid scheme.

KAPA officials claimed that it was Quiboloy who encouraged his long-time BFF Duterte to demolish KAPA because he has been losing his members to Apolinario’s group. It was during a one on one interview with Quiboloy on his Sonshine TV Network, that Duterte called KAPA a “pyramid scam” because of its promise of a 30 percent monthly return on “donations” made by believers was just “too good to be true.”

Duterte described Kapa (or Kabus Padatoon which means the poor will become rich) as nothing a but a pyramid scam for offering gullible investors a 30 percent return on their “donations” for life.

Securities and Exchange Commission or SEC had revoked Kapa’s registration last April but Apolinario was quick to get a cease and desist order from a General Santos City judge who ruled that Kapa was a religious organization (which was the reason why it termed member contributions as donations instead of investments) and outside the jurisdiction of the SEC.

“Panloloko iyang iyo. Tapos sino sisisihin mo, si PRRD? Ako? Wala kaming pakialam. Gobyerno natin to, magpasakop ka. Pastor ka naman,” Quiboloy said in a report by ABS-CBN.

“Kung nagpa-rehistro ka bilang religious, pero iba ang ginagawa mo at pinapanakip mo lang sa mga ginagawa mong raket at niloloko mo lang ang mga tao na religous group ito,” he added.

“Tatanungin kita, may nakuha ka bang mga miyembro kasi religious ka? Kasi nagsermon ka at naniwala sila sayong si Jesus Christ ang tagapagligtas? Nakapila sila sa opisina mo dahil sa pangakong mong 30 percent,” he also added

According to SEC, Kapa has generated at least P50 billion in collective funds from its estimated five million followers. The SEC had revoked KAPA’s registration but a General Santos City court issued a cease and desist order in favor of KAPA. The court ruled that KAPA is a religious organization therefore it is outside SEC's jurisidiction.

But with Duterte’s order and feeze order on KAPA’s assets from the Court of Appeals, the SEC has stepped up its pursuit of KAPA.
