Manila, Philippines – With the recent Election result, Outgoing Senator Paolo Benigno “Bam” Aquino IV said on Wednesday that he has entrusted his fate in the 2019 elections to God, as he promised to continue serving the Filipino people in whatever way he could in a private capacity.

While we were not lucky to get a second term, my love and my passion to serve our people has not diminished, and we will do this in other field), said Aquino in a statement.

It’s a big honor to serve our countrymen and that’s why we whole-heartedly thank those who worked and supported me in the past six years and during the past campaign months), he added.

Even before the elections, Aquino said he submitted his fate to God, faithfully entrusted His plans for him and for the country.

Believing His plans for me and most especially for all, for our nation), said Aquino.

Senator Aquino crafted 43 laws in his six years of service in the Senate, which includes the landmark Free College Law and the Go Negosyo Act.
