PAL issues warning to public against bogus '78th birthday' free tickets ads

The Philippine Airlines (PAL) issues warning to the public on Tuesday against fake advertisement online claiming that they are giving away two free tickets on PAL's "78th birthday.”

In its statement, the airline company also warned about the fake ad linked to a bogus website

PAL reminded everyone to be vigilant and not to fall into these fake ads.

"Vigilance is essential in ensuring that you do not fall prey to these bogus ads," PAL warned further in a statement

"Logging on to these sites will compromise or breach the privacy of your personal data." The airline added

“PAL utilizes its official website and official Facebook Page @flypal as avenues of exposure for its digital advertisements and announcements.

“We are coordinating with concerned authorities to address the matter and will take appropriate legal action to the perpetrators of this illegal act whose sole purpose is to sow public confusion. “ PAL stressed

The airline company announced on Wednesday what it said was its biggest seat sale this year to mark its 78th anniversary.

Over 2 million discounted domestic and international seats will be available starting March 1 to March 10.
