Hindi 'psychic' si Noynoy na malalaman niya na magbabago pala ‘yung Dengvaxia

In a chance interview in Quezon City, Senator Aquino said “Palagay ko, hindi naman psychic siguro si former President Aquino na malalaman niya na magbabago pala ‘yung Dengvaxia a year later.

Senator Bam Aquino dissented to the case filed by the Senate Blue Ribbon Committee headed by Senator Richard Gordon against the former President for mishandling the Dengvaxia deal amounting to P3.5 Billion.

Bam is totally convinced that his cousin, Noynoy was among the ‘primary conspirators’, leading to the ill effects of the anti – dengue drug as warning signs only emerged late last year disclosed by its manufacturer, Sanofi Pasteur.

Nagtataka rin kami kung papaano siyang naging conspirator kung sa panahon naman na ginawa ‘yung transaction sa Dengvaxia, hindi pa naman lumalabas ‘yung ibang mga balita tungkol dito,” Bam Aquino said.

He slammed the draft Senate Blue Ribbon committee report on Dengvaxia that recommended criminal charges against Noynoy Aquino including Senator Gordon’s panel for not providing clear answers to his ‘basic’ question referring to Dengvaxia’s effects that could bring harm to children.

Ano ba talaga ‘yung harm? Ano po ba talaga ‘yung nadudulot ng Dengvaxia? Hindi ho malinaw, ito ba’y nakakasama? Ito ba’y may nagagawang masama dun sa ating mga bata?” Senator Aquino said.

He also stressed that, “It did not resolve that issue…so the most basic question dun po sa (on the) Dengvaxia issue, palagay ko merong pagkukulang ‘yung blue ribbon dito (I think the blue ribbon committee has shortcomings).

Majority of the Senate Blue Ribbon Committee members already signed the report on Dengvaxia, which shall consequently be escalated to the Plenary for further deliberations which stood no objections on the recommended charges against the former President from many of its signatories.
