Manila, Philippines – An American citizen who has lived in the Philippines for quite sometime defends Filipinos against the racist American woman who belittled a Filipina at a grocery store in the United States.

A video showing an old woman having rants against a Filipina claiming that Filipinos and other minorities have been stealing their food, money and jobs.

Jarred Ammon Gillet, an American citizen said that he really got angry of what the woman said as he has been with a lot of Filipinos and even lived in the Philippines.

Gillet said.

According to Gillet, Filipinos were really nice and welcoming which he experienced himself as he lived in Bataan, Pangasinan and Zambales.

Gillet also said that coming back to the United States made him a bit sad because he noticed that Philippine flag is not visible in a lot parts in the US,

He added that even the Filipinos in his country were the nicest and most genuine people and hopefully the racist woman knew that.

Further, Gillet said that not all Americans are like the rude lady who was disrespectful to others.

Gillet said.

He said that he wants his message to reach many people so that they would know that not all Americans are racist or rude.

He said, and even invited Filipinos to come and visit him at his home so he could also cook meals for them.

Gillet said.
